1-st level Rugby Europe rugby coaches seminar took place in Panorama Villa Lux in Baku on 6-10 July. Azerbaijani beginner and experienced coaches have participated on this seminar. This course  was planned and performed by delegation of instructors from Georgian Rugby Academy managed by experienced educator Georgi Chumburidze.

In 19th December the first training session by rugby-5 in a framework of "Enermech Rugby-5" project have been performed in educational complex №132-134. There participated 35 kids from 7 and 8 forms. Information about rugby, rules of rugby-5 game were explained to kids by Federation`s trainers and they were provided by familiarization training exercises. At the end the training session kids were divided to many teams and played touch-rugby. Joyful fact is how fast kids have learned rugby-5 rules and how interested they have participated in a training session.

On 26.11.2014 Azerbaijan Rugby Federation  concluded an agreement with Enermech company about general sponsorship of "Enermech Rugby-5" project. As we informed earlier this project of Federation is aimed at the popularization of rugby in Azerbaijan as a new Olympic kind of sports and to development of children`s rugby in secondary schools, creation of school teams, providing tournaments among school boys and revealing of young talented kids for Azerbaijani national teams by different age groups. Enermech is a Scottish  company specialized in providing services in the field of energy in a worldwide.

On 26.11.2014 Azerbaijan Rugby Federation has concluded an agreement with www.day.az and www.dailysport.az web-portals about informational support in the framework of the "Enermech Rugby-5" project. It is possible to see latest news about Azerbaijani rugby and especially about popularization and development of children`s rugby in Azerbaijan as a new Olympic kind of sports.

On 21.11.2014 Azerbaijan Rugby Federation performed the "Rugby-5" project presentation for schoolboys of 8-th form in Educational Complex #134-132. More than 90 kids, also teachers and other workers of the school participated on this presentation. Representative of the federation gave to the audience an information about history of Rugby, tournaments and results of azerbaijani teams and informed kids about plan of development of Rugby in Azerbaijan.

Department of development Azerbaijan Rugby Union has worked out a plan for development rugby in Azerbaijan. The plan is divided into three stages:

a) Initial or short-term which is urgent per se;

b) Medium-term;

c) Long-term (perspective).
