International Tournament

Azerbaijan’s Rugby Union, together with Baku Youth and Sports Head Office, are holding the annual “Baku Cup Open” international rugby tournament among adult and junior teams, which this year is confined to the 90th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev. This tournament will be the first one in the series of international tournaments as part of preparation to the 2015 European Olympic Games in Azerbaijan. Three rugby-union games will also be played as part of this tournament. The competition will take place in Baku on May 9th, 10th and 11th 2013.
